Brought to you by Raycon The Pregnancy Pact (2010) is another scaremongering television movie from Lifetime, in a similar vein to my previously-covered Cyber Seduction. It purports to tell the story of a fictional pregnancy pact, inspired by areal-life pregnancy pact that allegedly occurred in Gloucester, Massachusetts in 2008. Not only did the event that the film is based on not actually happen, but the film promotes myths and falsehoods, presents a bizarre, distorted view of pregnancy, and is as melodramatic and sensationalising as you’d expect from Lifetime, while also offering no meaningful insights or solutions. https://www.insideedition.com/9-years...
