Under the guidance of instructors with outstanding achievements in All Japan Championships and World Championships, including special kendo training officers of the Kanagawa Prefectural Police (kendo specialist police officers), young kendo practitioners from lower elementary school to junior high school hone their skills daily. [Instructors] ●Hajime Miyake, Kyoshi 8th Dan Honorary Instructor of Mutsumi Kenshikai. Honorary Instructor of Kanagawa Prefectural Police. Born in 1950 in Fukuoka Prefecture. After graduating from Kaho High School, he attended Asia University and then joined the Kanagawa Prefectural Police. He founded Mutsumi Kenshikai in 1975. His major achievements include third place in the All Japan Championships, three victories in the National Sports Festival, victory in the All Japan Police Officers' Tournament (team competition), second and third place each in the Prince Tomohito Cup 8th Dan Selection Tournament, and participation in the Prefectural Team Competition. ●Tadaomi Hojo Chief Instructor of Mutsumi Kenshikai. Instructor of Kanagawa Prefectural Police. Kendo Kyoshi 7th Dan. Born in 1976, from Kanagawa Prefecture. After graduating from Yokohama High School, he attended Meiji University and subsequently served in the Kanagawa Prefectural Police. Currently, he instructs at the Mutsumi Kenshikai (Mutsumi Kendo Association) to foster the healthy development of young kendo practitioners. His major achievements include individual and team championships at the All Japan Student Kendo Tournament, three appearances at the All Japan Championships, team championship at the World Championships, team championship and third place in the National Police Officers' Tournament, and victory at the All Japan Selected Kendo 7th Dan Championship. ● Mamoru Miyake Senior Instructor at Mutsumi Kenshikai. Born in 1983 / From Kanagawa Prefecture. Graduated from Yokohama High School and then Ryutsu Keizai University. He works alongside his father, Honorary Instructor and 8th Dan Instructor Kazuo Miyake, at Mutsumi Kenshikai, providing overall instruction.
