This is our attempt to retell that timeless tale through a first-person narrative in Telugu , using the tools available to us today, while upholding the spirit of adventure storytelling perfected by masters across the world. Adventure was, is, and will always remain the middle name of Telugu literature. From its very inception, Telugu literature has thrived on epics , folklore and serialized storytelling. As a YouTube channel dedicated to Telugu-speaking audiences, it was our heartfelt wish to present a classic from Western literature — The Odyssey — while paying homage to the great innovators of Telugu narrative art: stalwarts like Madhira Subbanna Deekshitulu, the many authors of Chandamama Kathalu, and the legendary kv reddy and Pingali Nagendra Rao. This retelling is a tribute to the kind of story they would have loved to tell — and to hear. If you feel that the images and videos in this presentation look decent then the credit goes to the computer scientists and engineers who relentlessly strive hard to deliver amazing tools of creativity using mathematical magic. They have been prompted to better enhance the narration which is 100 percent human 😁. This is our own way of expressing excitement for Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey which is releasing next year.
