BBC video of the first 150 years of the Grand National, narrated by Richard Pitman. Footage starts from 1910. Midway through, there is a segment from 1985 where Pitman rides the course with Maureen Piggott (Lester's daughter) and Ernie Fenwick. I think that was the last time the BBC ran on-horse demos of the course.
