Let's talk and connect! FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?... PATREON:   / polotremolo   Construction The raw, almost industrial design is supposed to suggest professional applications, but the headphones' low resistance of 32 ohms allows you to connect these headphones not only to a professional audio interface, but also to a hi-fi tower, monitors, a computer and even a telephone, with which they play extremely loud and clear. First impressions are very good. The headband is made of anodized aluminum, just like in the case of Beyerdynamic products, which I will talk about later in this test. I immediately noticed that the closed construction has excellent insulation, and the earmuffs with memory foam fit well and not too tightly to the head, providing excellent insulation. The adjustment range is very large, which allows us to assume that the headphones can be adjusted to both a child's head and a large adult's head. Interestingly, the cable can be connected to the left or right ear cup and, importantly, on the one hand, it is difficult to disconnect it by accident, but on the other hand, it can be disconnected with a decisive movement, which prevents possible damage. It's nice that the cable is 3 m long. I sometimes like to mix mixes on the sofa or armchair at the back of the control room and this cable is long enough to ensure that. The cable ends with a screw-in ¼" TRS adapter. After unscrewing it, a small jack remains, which allows you to use the headphones with consumer equipment. The H200 are also surprisingly light and weigh only 250g. eco-friendly Interesting fact - these are ecological headphones, their ear cups are 85% made of reused ABS plastic, and the packaging itself does not contain a gram of plastic. As befits a premium product, the foam headband, cable and ear pads are replaceable, which should allow you to enjoy the headphones for many years. Isolation and Bass reflex But that's not all. More and more often in closed structures I see the use of technologies resembling bass reflex. The H200 is equipped with internal Airflow Technology. The transducer closed in the chamber works to a greater extent, blowing air through the holes covered with a mask. Good acoustic tuning of the entire system allows for deep bass. Also noteworthy is the very solid damping visible in the promotional video. And actually the insulation is amazing. Inside the earmuffs there are 40mm drivers that provide frequency conversion in the range from 2Hz to 23.5Hz and as much as 112 dB SPL. It's very, very, very loud. And these headphones sound very clean, even when they pump a lot of bass into our ears. And they do not need a very powerful amplifier for this, even with an iPhone they play very loud and clear to the end of the range. Sound These are headphones perfectly tailored to the needs of modern music production. With them I would feel safe producing bass music, drum'n'bass, techno, etc., but also of course funk, pop, etc. The bass is fast, deep and even. And this is what creating modern hip-hop or trap requires. In the remaining range, the sound is full, sufficiently detailed and clear, legible, but without any noticeable sharpness. It is simply pleasant to the ear, the midrange is nice, the vocals sound natural and relatively close. Plug But that's not all. Together with the headphones, we receive a VST3/AU plug-in created by Sonnox, which allows us to shape the sound of the headphones in the style of the flagship ADAM S3V monitor model in an adapted room. This is the case with the Pure setting. And it was probably compared to some extent in the measurements, but for me these two domains remain separate and I am glad that, unlike the not very successful SP5 model, the H200 does not try to imitate monitor listening. I tried to transfer a certain signature just a little bit, and although I can't say whether it was successful, the headphones sound very, very nice... A bit better than without the plug-in. Summary And although we get a plug-in to shape the characteristics of the headphones, they provide a lot of experience without any additional correction, especially when listening to music, where pulse, rhythm and bass are important. Taking all this into account, excellent isolation for rap recordings and excellent low-frequency processing, overall good balance, low weight - these are simply perfect headphones for a music producer with a deep pulse who wants to use headphones not only in the studio, but also on the go. It seems that both professional and consumer products will have a hard time competing with the H200 in this range. It's simply a very refined product, great headphones, period.
