2,400 Mile Road Trip in the New Tesla Model S Long Range
Just 8 hours after sending our new Tesla Model S Long Range (not Plaid) down the 1/4 mile track, we loaded up for an epic cross country drive from Houston, TX to Seattle, WA. We'd been planning this trip for a while and were going to make it in our Model 3 Performance, but after taking delivery of our 2021 Model S with almost 100 more miles of range, it made sense to take the new car and test out the "long range" in its name. We've made several road trips previously in our 2015 Model S and Model 3. The new Model S is in its own league. From 10 seconds in the 1/4 mile to 2,400 miles in 6 days, it did not disappoint.
