Mick Karn #japan #davidsylvian #midge ,,,,, Brief interview
He is a legend , Ouido ? , Ignorant ,,by that he didn't know how special and diverse he was , people emulate him , people sound very close , the difference , Mick didn't make it look like Brain Surgery, a couple of years before Gentlemen Take Polaroids (Where that Mick Karn household sound was so audible , HE BTW Was Magical live , I'm so honoured to have seen him 11 times )we heard this sound that even on a Fender FRETTED Jazz Bass that Mick used in the mid 70s produce this sound as early as ? from Japan's First album ASex on the track ? I'll let you connoisseurs out there comment which I'm talking of The Mick Karn that started journalists making audiences recognise how a Bass Guitar and those who Play them get recognition ( sadly not financially wise for Mick ) as a Member of more than One person makes a Band ,along with another legend ,Mark King ( Level 42) who's #slapbass sound ,a sound btw started in 60s New York ,not 80s Leeds 😂, are imo One offs Mick Karn A Pioneer of Sons rest in Peace
