It turns out we have two versions of Chopin's Ballade recorded by Cortot in 1926. This video features a rare version issued from different takes than the commonly heard version, linked below: Common version:    • Chopin Ballade No. 1 - Cortot  - common ve...   Both versions were issued from matrices CVE-32172 and CVE-32173. The "rare version" was issued from take 4 of both matrices, which were recorded on October 27, 1926 in Camden, New Jersey. https://www.cortotarchives.org
