We chose two Korean dishes, and as promised, here are the recipes: Bimbimbap Ingredients • 1 bowl of hot rice • 1 handful of spinach • 1 carrot, thinly sliced ​​lengthwise • 1/2 zucchini/Japanese cucumber, sliced ​​lengthwise • 5–6 shiitake mushrooms/champignons, sliced • Sesame oil • Salt and pepper • Butter to taste • 1 egg (sunny side up) • 200g minced beef, sautéed Bimbimbap Gochujang Sauce • 2 tbsp gochujang • 1 tbsp soy sauce • 1 tbsp honey/sugar • 1 tsp rice vinegar • 1 tsp sesame oil • 1 clove of grated garlic (optional) • 1–2 tsp water for thinning Cooking Instructions • Stir-fry Vegetables separately • Sauté ground beef with salt and pepper • Cook the gochujang sauce until combined • Once done, simply plate and add butter on top of the plated bibimbap Cheese Dakgalbi Chicken & Marinade: • 400–500 g chicken thigh/breast fillet, cut into bite-size pieces • 2 tbsp gochujang • 1 tbsp gochugaru (optional, adjust spice level) • 2 cloves garlic, minced • 1 tbsp soy sauce • 1 tbsp sugar/honey • 1 tbsp sesame oil • ½ tsp grated ginger • A pinch of pepper Vegetables: • ½ cabbage, sliced • ½ onion, sliced • 1 small carrot, thinly sliced • 1 stalk spring onion, cut diagonally • 1 sweet potato Small (optional), thinly sliced • 150 g rice cake (tteokbokki) – optional Cheese: • 150–200 g mozzarella (melt-free) Cooking Instructions • Marinate the chicken: Mix all the marinade ingredients with the chicken and let it sit for 20–30 minutes (longer is better). • Heat a little oil. Add the onion and cabbage and sauté until they start to wilt. • Add the marinated chicken. Stir well until the chicken changes color. • Place the mozzarella in the center and let it melt. Good luck!
