Part one of the Fibre Fun - Carding #18/16
The big snow fall that has been forecast for weeks is finally here so after I’ve sorted out the poultry with water and food and stoked up the fire, what better way to spend these days than with colour. I’m a novice spinner, like many of the things I do I’m more curious than talented. But here you can watch as I take the beautiful fibre I showed you some time ago and turn it into yarn. I’m guessing there will be a few parts to this one. Please remember, if you’ve got anything better to do, no one is making you watch! But I’m happy to have you along for the ride. And also, if you know something I don’t I’d be very happy for you to pass on your knowledge. Happy carding/spinning/plying/knitting! Hear more about The Last Homely House, in our monthly newsletter.
