Welcome to Rio de Janeiro! Back to the Urca district to show in more detail from Pasteur Avenue, the only road access to the Urca district. In it are very old buildings of the city, such as the first Brazilian university "currently called UFRJ", the Benjamin Constant Institute "former Imperial Institute of the Blind Boys", founded by the Emperor D. Pedro II, the Museum of Sciences and Ground, UNIRIO "Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro", the Naval War School and among other newer buildings. Another area to be further detailed is the famous Red Beach, where in the seventeenth century it aimed to be a military defense for the city, and in the eighteenth century a fort was built. Currently the red beach is a major tourist spot in the city, and one of the reasons is the tram station that take people to the top of Morro da Urca and then to Sugarloaf Mountain. It also houses the IME "Military Institute of Engineering" and the Army Command and General Staff School. Its beach is very narrow and has a small strip of sand, but it is still very well frequented by cariocas. The final stretch is Cláudio Coutinho Trail, which borders the Morro da Urca and the Sugarloaf Mountain with the sea, providing beautiful views of the sea, the compositions of hills and part of the city of Niterói across the bay.
