In this video, we personally inspected a Dryvit exterior wall window frame leak site using rope access and investigated the cause of why rainwater was seeping into the frame. Upon removing the exterior cladding, we found that water had been absorbed internally, and the gap (grouting) between the window frame and the concrete had widened, allowing rainwater to seep in directly. In this video, we show you the entire process in detail, from ✔️ Diagnosing the cause of the leak inside the exterior wall ✔️ Cleaning and tidying up the area around the window frame ✔️ Repairing the silicone caulking ✔️ Fabricating and installing a rainwater drainage device ✔️ Restoring the Dryvit cladding and finishing the exterior wall caulking. In particular, this project was constructed using a triple-layer structure consisting of window frame caulking, a rainwater diversion device, and exterior wall caulking to alter the flow of rainwater itself. This is not simply a matter of applying silicone; it is a process of analyzing the building structure and water flow to resolve the root cause.
