Chris' friend Matt started building an 1985 FXWG chopper 5 years ago and it kind of started to just collect dust in his garage while other projects took more priority and Matt's time. Matt was about to put the project up for sale on the internet when Chris said to Matt, "hold it right there, let me buy it!" as he recognized the amount of effort already placed in the bike and couldn't let just anyone build it. He HAD to have it and see it through to the end and also make sure Matt got to see it done right and the way he was trying to initially build it.
