Jazz Solo Trombone Competition - 2022 Virtual American Trombone Workshop (4K)

Welcome to the Virtual American Trombone Workshop 2022 and the National Solo Jazz Competition. The National Solo Jazz Competition is one of the most successful and popular jazz trombone competitions in the nation. There are two ages divisions for this competition: Division I features participants ages 21 and younger, and Division II features participants ages 22-29. Our participants for Division I this year are Ty Waters from the University of Iowa, Haik Demirchian from the Eastman School of Music, and Eli Howell from Michigan State University. Our participants for Division II are Jackson Churchill from the University of North Texas, Armando Vergara from the Manhattan School of Music, and Andrew Danforth from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
