Sandro Rizoli, MD, professor of Surgery and Critical Care Medicine presents his lecture “Should We Transfuse Fibrinogen to Bleeding Trauma Patients at the STACS conference presented by AzTA. Coagulopathy often occurs immediately after trauma. Through often use of ROTEM or TEG, and aggressive treatment of coagulopathy intraoperatively, we can improve patient outcomes in the trauma setting.
