Hi everybody!! Today we are going to see the unboxing and the setup of the "Tunze Osmolator Nano 3152" that is a water auto top off (ATO) mechanism. This is the very first upgrade to my tank. In a marine tank it's very important to keep the salinity steady, but evaporation is a threat to that stability. This is because while water evaporates from the tank continuously, the salt remains in the tank. So with time the water in the tank increases its salinity level. For this reason it's very important to add fresh unsalted water into the tank, so that to keep the salinity stable. This step can be done manually without problems, but an automatic mechanism helping us represents a great advantage.
