Iranians no longer see the regime as legitimate as hardliners gain foothold

FDD Iran analyst Janatan Sayeh discusses the growing calls for regime change in Iran, labelling the current regime as "illegitimate". “The end goal there is their freedom, and I’m not speaking for myself here, I’m citing the president when he started the war on February 28th,” Mr Sayeh told Sky News Digital Presenter James Bolt. “If you ask the average Iranian … looking at the polls and population turnouts under the repressions, it is a significant majority … it is enough for us to see the regime as illegitimate.”
