I shared a video proposing a concrete project for the use of bougainvillea to enhance the comfort of tourists and visitors in Tarsus's hot climate. The integration of my proposed project into the area could be planned as follows: Steel Construction System: This could begin with the installation of durable steel structures or wrought iron buildings along the streets, allowing bougainvillea to grow and wrap around. This system could be designed to function as a natural shade. Natural and Aesthetic Shading: Thanks to the bougainvillea's ability to remain green and colorful throughout the four seasons, a visually rich and photogenic tourist walkway could be created, not just a cool environment. In the restaurant area, a polycarbonate translucent glass roof system would make sitting and dining in a brighter street more enjoyable... Sustainability: Instead of the current unplanned and aesthetically unappealing shading efforts (curtains or different types of roof coverings), I believe this plant-focused system would both improve the environmental aesthetics and be more in keeping with the historical commercial center's character. And I am absolutely certain that when this project is realized, the influx of tourists to our city will increase by at least 50-100 times, solely due to the tourists and social media influencers who will come to see this place and want to share their experiences...
