We often follow methods, processes, and techniques that others have shown us. That's perfectly fine because we learn from them. But at some point, we forge our own path by listening to our inner voice and discerning what resonates with us and what doesn't. If it doesn't feel right, draw your own conclusions. It's your painting, it's your art, and what matters is that you feel the spark of enthusiasm within it, that you feel comfortable, that your expression is paramount—and nothing else. No one else has the right to judge, because every expression is unique, original, and individual. Today, it's about fully arriving in the present moment while painting. And if you, like me, conclude that you're covering all the bases again, then that's perfectly fine. Dare to let your voice be heard. She is an important part of the world's chorus. Sing your notes.
