He was beloved son to Mr. Joseph Tanui and Mrs. JaneTanui. Peter was the cherished twin brother of Gertrude Jepchirchir Too and brother to HillaryKiprono Tanui, Irene Che pkurgat Tanui, and Pauline Jerobon Tanui.He was born a twin alongside his sister, GertrudeJepchirchir Too. The two shared a unique bondfrom birth and spent much of their childhood growing up together. He was a loving uncle to Terryann Chepkemboi, Maria Clara Chelagat, Sheryl Chebet Sogomo, Victor Kipkoech Sogomo, and Tamara Chepkorir Tanui. He was also blessed with numerous paternal and maternal cousins, uncles, aunties, nieces, and nephews, all of whom held a special place in his heart. Peter was known for his warm personality, kindness, and ability to connect with people from an early age.
