Cycling Across the Netherlands on Euro Velo 3 & 19 From Nijmegen to Amsterdam | Bicycle Touring
In this final episode of our EuroVelo tour from Lisbon to Amsterdam, we ride from Belgium across the Netherlands finishing in Amsterdam, with a brief stop in Germany along the way. Following the EV19 route, we travel along the Meuse River Valley, crossing the river again and again on a chain of small ferries. Our journey also takes us through several culturally rich cities, including Nijmegen, Utrecht, and of course Amsterdam—where we spend a few days exploring the bustling streets, world's largest bicycle parking garage, and even the infamous red-light district before packing our bags and flying back to the States. We volgen de EV19-route en reizen langs de Maasvallei, waarbij we de rivier steeds weer oversteken met een reeks kleine veerboten.
