AMEL MARAMU 46 for sale | Sailing Boat Tour

This family has been owning Amel Maramu 46 since 2018 and it's the second owner since it was sold new in 1989 from Chantiers Amel, France, and was very little used only as second boat. The Amel Maramu 46 is an elegant world cruiser design by Henri Amel and Jacques Carteau, truly a classic sail yacht ready to circumnavigate shorthanded or single-handed. Amel design are very distinctive in appearance and as well functionality. The centre cockpit has a hard dogger and boat is equipped with a Hydraulics furling mizzen, main sail and jib. The masts were repainted together with the sails and the shrouds completely replaced at the end of 2018.The original engine is a Perkins mit 44Kw with just 277 hours motion. The interior work is beautiful dark mahogany, mostly solid, with a real teak and holly floor. The galley of the 46 Maramu opens up to the saloon salon with L-shaped settees port and starboard. The centreline dining table, with bottle storage within, has two fold-up leaves and seats a good crowd on both settees. Aft to starboard is the sit-down navigation station. Opposite to board is the L-shaped galley with plenty of storage. Aft to starboard is the access to the cabin with a twin berth with wardrobes and ensuite toilet aft to board. A double berth forward with two wardrobes and en-suited toilet. This Maramu 46 looks in really good conditions and very little used except for the deck paint and the interior ceiling.
