Autumnal Equinox Plein Air Drawing Challenge | Abstracting the Seasons
Tune in to the Autumn with me using this abstract drawing challenge. Through it, I hope to notice and draw more of the details in nature on seven plein air sessions, painting or drawing outside. I’ve made this video to demonstrate three of the prompts within the challenge, with the focus on exploring texture, colour & abstraction through scale. For a full project description check out my Substack blog, or Instagram linked below. Lastly, I’d love to know if you’ll take part, let me know in the comments below! We're working towards the equinox on the 23rd, but there's no real time constriction - if it takes you less time, or further in to autumn.
