CMOS Inverter Gate Analog Amplifier

In this video, Gregory explains how an inverter logic gate can be used as an analog amplifier. The internal arrangement of a CMOS NOT logic gate is almost exactly the same as a NMOS common source amplifier with a dynamic active PMOS load. This simple amplifier is useful when high gain product bandwidth is needed, as in IF amplifiers, crystal ladder buffers and detection of small RF signal.
