We met up at the Atomium with the Samurai Riders for a ride to Antwerp. The goal was simple: ride, soak up the sun, and have a great barbecue with fellow bikers. Except that nothing went as planned… The first breakdown was 500 meters from the starting point. We had to resort to pushing our bikes to reach the group. We finally got going, though, with a great atmosphere and perfect weather. Once we arrived: barbecue, good vibes, and a huge amount of meat… too much, even. And then, an impromptu idea struck us. We made sandwiches with the leftover meat and decided to hand them out on the way back to Brussels. A second breakdown en route. Another push. But despite the mishaps, we laughed, we rode, and most importantly… we did something worthwhile.
