Self-Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine

LAKE SHRINE: Live from Self-Realization Fellowship SRF LakeShrine, Friday, March 4, 2022.. Lake Shrine lies a few blocks from the Pacific Ocean, on Sunset Boulevard in Pacific Palisades. The meditation garden offers people from around the world a quiet oasis for meditation, prayer, and receiving the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda. There are waterfalls, fountains, flower beds, statues, white swans across the lake, lacy fern grottos, lily ponds, and an old Dutch windmill which is used as a chapel. The gardens are filled with little brick paths and short stairways which lead from the main trail to hidden alcoves where meditation or sitting and taking in the view is possible. There is a gift shop featuring arts and crafts from India.
