Saxon PICKELHAUBE Frontplate Restoration - Incredible Find!

In this video, you will see the Original WW1 Saxon Pickelhaube Fronplate restoration. The item will be found at the battlefields of the WW1 (Incredible Find!). My job was to clean the item, straighten it, soldering and final assembly. Pickelhaube (pickelhelm) this is a pointed leather helmet worn in the 19th and 20th centuries by members of the Russian, German and British armed forces. The distinctive feature of the Saxon pickelhelm was the decorative front plate, namely the cockade, consisted of a large Star with a wappen (coat of arms) for the Kingdom of Saxony.
