"Justice, Journalism and Farming” A Police Officer’s Passion for Stories and Agriculture
In this episode of the Malawi AgriBiz Podcast, we talk to Williams Kajoloweka Kaponda, a police officer, journalist, and passionate farmer. Kaponda runs poultry and crop farming, among other agribusinesses, and shares his story about how agriculture has improved his life financially. He talks about how he started farming, how he manages his work as a police officer and a farmer, and why he chose farming even though he has a Master’s degree. His story challenges the belief that agriculture is only for uneducated people and shows how agribusiness can change lives. Kaponda, who comes from the northern region of Malawi, now works in Ndonda, Kasungu.
