This just destroyed car ownership and it doesn't matter what you drive, it impacts everyone. Things that were once thought to be science fiction are now a reality, and I'm not talking about cool technology like flying cars or unlimited mileage, I'm talking about stuff straight out of a science fiction horror movie. And this goes way beyond cost and financial burden, because that's a thing too! New cars cost the equivalent of what a new house cost just 20-30 years ago, trapping people in a decade's worth of debt with interest rates exceeding 20%. But if that wasn't enough to worry about, now we have to worry about our vehicle being controlled by someone other than us, the owners, because even though our name is on the title and we are making the payments, we never actually own the vehicle.
