Lovely Laos: Oudomxay - Gateway Town for the Far North of Laos | ເມືອງໄຊ

Thank you! 🙏 Oudomxay, also known as Muang Xay, is the largest town in the far north of Laos. If you’re travelling up from Luang Prabang, you’ll no doubt pass through here as it’s on the main Route 13 with Route 2E heading NE to the Vietnam border and Route 2W heading SW down to Pak Beng which is on the Mekong River. There’s also an airport here as well as a station on the new Boten to Vientiane Railway.
