Mega Man X - Flame Mammoth's Stage

Onto the next stage! After this one I will start getting a little more deviant stage order wise, but until then, the buster power-up awaits! This stage has actually been affected by a previous stage that was beaten, Chill Penguin's stage. The result has frozen the lava within the stage, making it a bit easier overall! The lava was not instant death, so it was only a little bit of a threat. It does, however, allow one to get the heart tank in this stage without having to sacrifice a ton of energy. Probably the most dangerous thing in the stage, though, is the new style of picket men. There is a room with a whole lot of them, and they will gladly chuck many a pick-axe at you! Flame Mammoth himself is quite a wuss... Even without using his weakness he is really easy to avoid. The most threatening thing he can do is lay down some oil and set it on fire for a brief period. Otherwise you just need to make sure to avoid his large size and the earthquakes he causes when landing from a jump.
