Rudi Tchaikovsky - The Castle's Equivalent
The Seelie Court label is back, presenting a vast catalog of almost forgotten and extremely rare sounds spanning the psych, prog, and folk genres. Recorded live in Epe, the Netherlands, on 26 March 1975, these five tracks capture Rudi Tchaikovsky near the end of their short career. The band’s progressive rock grew from rhythm and blues roots, combining extended arrangements, strong keyboard and guitar work and elements of jazz and classical music. ‘The Castle’s Equivalent’ preserves the work of a little-known British group whose music was still developing when they disbanded.
