My Engineering Salary in China Was Cut in Half — Is It Time to Quit?
For the past 10 years, I’ve worked as a road and bridge designer in Ningbo, China. Like many ordinary people here, I believed that if I worked hard enough, life would slowly become more stable. But over the past few years, things started to change. Projects became fewer. Competition became harsher. And my income dropped by almost half. This video is just a small piece of my ordinary life — buying breakfast early in the morning, taking care of my daughter, revising drawings on a Sunday, and quietly thinking about the future. Thank you for watching my first video. I hope we can slowly get to know each other here.
