DMV Goodyear Racing Days, Motorsport Arena Oschersleben, August 23-24, 4th event weekend of the 2025 TOURING CAR LEGENDS Dutch one-two – just two weeks before the season finale in Assen, Netherlands Guest driver Donald Molenaar, in Sven-Maik Krüger's (KK Automobile) BMW M3 E36, proved to be the man to beat in the Magdeburg Börde region. The former DTM Classic DRM Cup participant put in a commanding performance on both Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning – once even coming back from last on the grid. In the third sprint race, contested over 25 minutes like the two previous races, Thomas Ardelt achieved a hard-fought victory in the 996.2 generation Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. The headlines: Touring car classics at the start: Laurenc Seifried (BMW 635 CSi Group A), Thomas Steinke (Alfa Romeo Luigi GTV 6), and Bernhard Schmidbauer (Opel Steinmetz Commodore) underscored the historic claim. BMW M3 E35 versus Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16: Rally converts Nikolai Stzuparits and Marvin Schaid fought the weekend's duel for victory in Class 2. Following teammate Marc Hessel's triumph the day before, Stzuparits secured a one-two finish. Podium finish for the veteran: Peter Nickel, who competed in the ADAC GT Cup three decades ago with the Opel Calibra turbo, brought the spectacularly modified front-wheel drive car to third place overall in the third race. Two BMW specialists made their mark: Donald Molenaar (NL, BMW M3 E36, KK Automobile) and the Swiss Michael Neuhauser (BMW E46 WTCC, Bissig Performance) made their mark, particularly on race Saturday, with first and third places in the overall standings. A total of 15 drivers participated in the fourth event weekend of the TOURING CAR LEGENDS 2025 at the venue of their debut race in 2019. Anton Werner (Audi Quattro Group 4), one of the early participants, even got a taste of the lead in the second race on Sunday morning. After finishing fourth the day before, the Landshut native finished third in the second sprint, while Dr. Sebastian Haas (BMW M3 E30) defended his lead thanks to two more class wins.
