Pendulous sedge is a highly valuable resource which I found out during the last wild biome project where it became a vital staple during my three months where I ate 100% wild food and ate like our hunter gatherer ancestors did thousands of years ago. In this video I show you how to identify, gather and process pendulous sedge see and use it as a food. It is very versatile and can be used in both savory and sweet dishes. I did not know this seed was edible 7 years ago and the only footage I could find about its edibility was an old Ray Mears episode where he talked about how our ancestors would have used this seed and made a simple pendulous sedge seed bread over the fire.
