Ripping, SpringBoarding, DownHill Side Felling, And A 572xp Screaming the Whole Time!

Happy 4th of July to all! While on sabbatical, found a few fun ones in this unit. It definitely was not the biggest tree in the claim. But, for the small size, one of the most work per board feet realized. Seen here with an Oregon Light weight 33" (true measure, not the 34" as ) 110 drivers, .375 chain. With the weight of this saw, it balances nicely with this length and design bar. Seems to pull that much chain very smartly too! I was trying not to cut to much of the corner on lower tree and get into the hinge wood. It had a good shot 1/4 down the the right. And as always, a guy needs X-Ray vision when working on redwood trees when they have the thick, spongy bark as seen here. In the end, the 572 did well. I'm currently available for custom saw modifications. Please shoot me an email if you are interested. [email protected] Thanks for watching.
