Why Anglicans Reject Transubstantiation
River Devereux explains why the Anglican formularies uphold the real presence in the Eucharist, but not in a corporal presence and why they reject belief in transubstantiation. DISCLAIMER: After speaking with Christian Wagner of Apologia Anglicana I no longer believe that the doctrine of transubstantiation means there is a physical/corporal presence of Christ in the Eucharist, however, since many Eucharistic theologies do still believe this I stand by the critiques offered in this video.
