Juan Manuel Asturias y su bloqueo a marcha LGBTIQ+ en Antigua Guatemala

Journalists Marvin Del Cid and Sonny Figueroa covered the LGBTQ+ march in Antigua Guatemala, following the Constitutional Court's ruling that restricted the event and attacks by Antigua's mayor, Juan Manuel Asturias, who also fabricated claims that other activities were scheduled in the city. Asturias, along with municipal police officers and agents of the National Civil Police (PNC), with the approval of the institution's director, David Estuardo Custodio Boteo, intimidated the participants. And, as always, opportunists like Felipe Aguilar, former Minister of Culture and Sports during Alejandro Giammattei's administration, are trying to save face.
