SLEX TR4 TIAONG INTERCHANGE UPDATE July 19, 2026

The SLEX Toll Road 4 (TR4) Tiaong Interchange is a key access point on the 66.74-km expressway extension from Sto. Tomas, Batangas to Lucena City, Quezon. Partial openings of early sections, including the Tiaong segment, are anticipated, providing faster travel and reducing the trip from Metro Manila to Quezon Province. [1] The Tiaong Interchange is situated along Package C and Package D of the SLEX TR4 alignment, bridging San Pablo, Laguna to Candelaria, Quezon. Once fully operational, this new route is expected to bypass heavy traffic along the Maharlika Highway, cutting travel times from up to four hours down to roughly one hour.
