A baby giraffe drawing, Pt 1

The start of a new drawing: here we are drawing a baby giraffe (calf). such a beautiful photo, so I had to draw him! I'm using my Grafix drafting film, matte one side, for this. A pencil list of what I use are provided below. You can use a different surface than me, but some techniques will differ. Please don't worry if you do not have all the same colours that I use, use what you have.
