In this video, we'll disassemble the Kombi's engine for a general cleaning and to prepare it for the upcoming overhaul! 👇👇👇 We disassembled the Kombi's engine, removing the parts that were mounted on the block, such as the throttle body, intake manifold, engine cowl, alternator, coil, and fuel injectors, to perform a complete engine wash. We found some parts with small cracks, requiring repairs with welding. The oil filter had this problem, and we opted to repair it to keep the part and optimize the work of the mechanic who will perform the overhaul. We decided to show you the disassembly and washing process of the Kombi Mel's boxer engine, as it's undergoing a complete overhaul, so its engine deserves the same. We appreciate the advice from our friends, as it guided us in making a great adaptation to the oil filter, including an external oil filter and radiator to help cool the oil and ensure better engine cooling, preventing future traffic problems and guaranteeing a longer engine life without major issues!
