When Power Forgets Its Soul-APC-SLPP and Sierra Leone

Tonight, we will explore the clash between culture, colonialism, and politics. We will examine When Power Forgot Its Soul as a deeply human reflection on Sierra Leone’s political journey. We will trace how a nation once guided by culture, community, and shared responsibility gradually drifted into a struggle for control, initially under colonial rule and later through the familiar tensions of APC and SLPP politics. We will discuss the wounds we carry as a people, the hope that refuses to die, and the questions we still whisper about who we are and who we want to become.
