Lenovo ThinkPad T540p zerlegen und reinigen

Today we're disassembling a Lenovo ThinkPad T540p to thoroughly clean it and replace all the thermal paste and pads. Used Lenovo ThinkPad T540p models are currently available online for under €250. They come with a 4th-generation Core i CPU and are still perfectly adequate for many users. Furthermore, the 4000 generation is the last one to still offer socketed CPUs, so you can still upgrade them yourself. I bought the ThinkPad as a surprise for a friend because his beloved old Lenovo T60 is now so old that it unfortunately no longer meets his needs and has definitely earned its retirement. As with all used items, it's recommended to first perform a complete service and bring everything up to standard. Therefore, this video shows the complete disassembly (except for the display unit) of the Lenovo and, of course, the reassembly.
