We will learn to find the area of a right triangle, equilateral triangles, isosceles triangles, scalene triangles, and more. The area of a triangle can be thought of in terms of half of the area of a rectangle. Since we know the area of a rectangle is base times height, then taking 1/2 of this value yields the area of a triangle.
