EMD & Alco Bonanza: Diesel Hauled Trains of Indian Railways Clocking Upto 130 km/hr at Bilimora Jn.!

While the Delhi based railfan fraternity were going bonkers over the 130 km/hr speed upgradation of the Diesel hauled LHB Trains on the Pt. DD Upadhyaya Junction (Mughalsarai)-Patna section of ECR (East Central Railways), on the contrary my mind was eyeing on something different and this was none other than the Virar-Vadodara section of Western Railways which had also achieved accolades of their own by upgrading the Diesel hauled LHB trains to 130 km/hr speed. To cherish this action, we landed at Bilimora Jn station to enjoy the Diesel aggression to the fullest. In this section, not only the EMD beasts were going berserk at 130 km/hr speed but at the same time the Turbo Jets in the name of Alco Twins were unleashing their aggression at 120 km/hr speed thus giving us a trip down the memory lane when the "Numero Uno" Mumbai Rajdhani used to show it's dominance in this territory with Ratlam (RTM) Alco Twins back in the day. Presenting a collage of back to back 6 diesel actions which we witnessed during a short night out at Bilimora Jn in the Virat-Surat stretch of Western Railways. The night action commenced with thunderous 120 km/hr speed show of 02414 Madgaon Rajdhani Express led by the Vatva Alco Twins and concluded with the brute force attack of KJM WDP-4 as it hammered past Bilimora Jn at 130 km/hr speed while taking the charge of 06205 K.S.R Bengaluru-Ajmer Garib Nawaz Express.
