In this video, I'll show you how to prevent water stains on wooden surfaces. In my case, our dining table developed water stains over time that couldn't be removed. I treated the table with hair wax oil – not a bad idea in principle. But unfortunately, water stains appeared, which is annoying. The reason is that hair wax oil saturates the wood fibers, while Rubio Monocoat oil doesn't; it simply coats the fibers. This is a fundamentally different approach, which means the fibers can no longer absorb liquid, while the wood surface remains breathable. These are two important properties – because wood is a living material. In this video, I'll put it to the test and show you how to apply this oil, its advantages, and whether its properties live up to the claims. So stay tuned for the results!
