This device fits in line with the 5v power supply to your dashcam, the dashcam will power on and off using the car power as normal (power bank does not need to be fitted). When car power is removed, the relay will automatically switch over to power the dashcam from the power bank if fitted. This will allow you to easily film when the car is parked without draining your main car battery. If used in conjunction with a hardwire system (connection to car battery) this can be used as a backup battery. When the hardwire voltage cut off occurs and recording would normally stop, the relay will switch over to the power bank allowing for continuous recording. Easy connection using USB type A connectors.
