HOW YOU SHOULD PLAY DIVE! | Overwatch Spectating

1. You need to learn how to actually play dive heroes. Whether it's Venture, Anran, or Sombra. Your way of playing these heroes is completely...suboptimal to say the least. You constantly dive head on into the enemy team putting yourself in 1v2 or 1v3 situations, sometimes with half hp. You focus tank too much. You don't flank the backline often enough. I highly recommend watching other content creators that have guides for dive characters so you can see how these characters are meant to be played. Another recommendation would be Spilo's coaching sessions to learn a lot about these characters specifically. 2. Lack of awareness or timing, sometimes both. Before you dive, you need to do a quick check to what your team is doing. As I said before, multiple times I watch you dive straight into 2-3 enemies and get melted. If you lookback and know you're not getting help, you need to find an isolated target to 1v1, if you can't find any, then you need to chill and poke until an opportunity arises. A lot of metal rank players have this bloodlust and think they have to constantly be in the enemies' faces and fighting all the time. Dive characters actually have significant down time between dives. Mixup your timings so you can catch people off guard. Be unpredictable! 3. Not respecting enemy ults. Twice I watched you die because you simply do not care when an enemy ults and you should. On your 2nd point attack, Kiriko popped Kitsune on 3 heroes (including herself) and you still walked into the enemy team into 1v3. Another time Bap had his window active, and you just stood in front of it! Not even trying to hide and died doing so. Respect the enemy when these ults are active by simply hiding behind cover until it's over then reengage. I think the biggest thing you need to work on is how to properly play dive heroes and that starts with like a full crash course on the subject. I'm sorry I don't have any personal guides to link, but I'm sure you can find some on your own or maybe someone else can recommend someone. Once you do that, work on your awareness and timing. Work on being a surprise to the enemy team and not be predictable. Learn how to do that and you'll make it into Plat in no time.
