Drawing A B&W Squirrel | Understanding Tonal Value Importance | TinaBaeyensArt

This week, we're going to focus on the importance of tonal values. Unlike popular belief, you don't NEED colours to make something look realistic. You can simply use black and white, and play with your contrast, the shadows and highlights, and ofcourse with your values in the piece as a whole. I'll be using PanPastel for the background and a few different black and white pencils to get in the branch and our squirrel.
