Arcade Spotlight Sega Rally Championship

In early 1995, Sega unleashed Sega Rally Championship to a worldwide audience. It was their first polygon rally racing game, and it was nothing short of absolute arcade perfection. Arcade version captured via Nebula Model 2. Saturn version via RGB Framemeister. PS2 version via component Framemeister. 2. Takenobu Mitsuyoshi has created a ton of music for Sega. Outrunners, Virtua Racing, Virtua Fighter, Daytona, Sega Rally, it's amazing the wealth of content this dude was a part of. 3. Sega Rally 3 was released as Sega Rally Online Arcade for the Xbox 360 and PS3, though it isn't a one to one port. Sadly, it was pulled from those digital stores soon thereafter. 4. Sega Rally 2 has only ever seen a PC and Dreamcast port, neither of which were arcade perfect. 5. Sega Rally Revo is a stand alone game released on the Xbox 360, PS3, PSP, and PC. It stands as sort a remake of the first game, though I would say it is more inspired than a direct representation. 6. Sega Rally to this day is one of my favorite racing games of all time. It isn't loaded with content, but there is a joy to its gameplay that few other racing games even come close to matching.
